On December 9th, 2015, Director of Green Mountain Jade Inc. (GMJ), Mr. Shao Long Li accepted an interview with The Vancouver Sun and discussed the nephrite jade market, the potentials of BC jade and the international trade relations between Canada and China.
“The demand in China is huge, and there’s not enough domestically (within China) that can satisfy this market. But I think B.C. jade can fulfil those demands. I see the potential of the B.C. jade industry at least being 10 times of what we see right now in terms of direct employment. ”
